Is it worth taking a vacation loan?
When planning a trip to the seaside, in the mountains, or in a different place of rest, some people are considering taking a loan for this purpose.
A holiday loan may be useful especially for people who do not have saved savings and are hunting for last minute offers (then you have to pay for your holidays overnight).
Of course, you have to think about taking a loan – borrowing 10,000 zlotys to go to the Caribbean or other dream location is certainly not sensible. However, if we need a cash injection and we can handle the repayment without major problems, the holiday loan may not be a bad solution.
Are there special vacation loans?
In short, there is no answer. Just like there are no special loans “for holidays” and other occasions. Sometimes, however, you can find promotions or graphics on the websites of lenders referring to the theme of the holidays. It’s basically the only thing that connects loans with holidays.
So what loan will be suitable to finance your holiday?
It depends primarily on how much we want to borrow. We must count how much they will cost our holiday. If it is a small amount, not exceeding PLN 1500-2000, it is worth considering a payment – a loan that is repaid within 30 days. If we use the promotion of the first free loan available in some companies, we can borrow money for PLN 0. Then borrowing for a vacation will not cost us anything.
If our trip costs more, or we will not be able to deal with the whole repayment at once, it is worth checking installment loans. They are available both in banks and in loan companies . Naturally, the costs are definitely higher for non-bank loans, but they are easier and faster to receive.
