Since Russia launched a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, thousands of civilians have died and millions of Ukrainians have been forced to flee their home country.
The war is the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II and has had repercussions on the global economy.
Photographers from around the world have captured the conflict, the violence and the effect the war has had on Ukrainian civilians and landscapes.
Their roles are more important than ever – recording the harsh reality of the situation and trying to report it to the rest of the world.
