The course helps you learn about graphic design and work with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign to achieve your vision. Since the purpose of the course is not to teach you how to use these two programs, it is a good idea to enter this course with at least a basic understanding of them.

The Introduction to Typography course teaches you about hierarchy and spatial organization, choosing the best type and convention, and the best way to express your ideas through typography. Introduction to Typography - Design Fundamentals for Beginners

This introductory typography class takes just over an hour and, as the name suggests, is aimed at beginners. It is divided into 20 lessons with durations that make them very easy to consume.

You learn what typography is and the right terms to use, its importance in the design world, the typographic principles you can apply to digital and print media, and how to make the best typographic choices.

You will also learn about various tips, how to use typography effectively, and how to apply your newly acquired skills in graphic design, including web and user interface (UI) design.

This course is available on Skillshare and is included in the 14-day premium subscription trial that we mentioned in the previous section.

An introduction to web fonts and modern web typography is divided into five lessons and lasts about an hour. It is aimed more at intermediate learners, so don’t forget to keep that in mind.
